📅

"Do I send another email? Call them? Write a formal letter? I genuinely don't know what to do next."

FAQ

Common questions

Is it really free? What's the catch?
Genuinely free — no subscription, no card, no trial. All features are included. The project is supported by donations (Buy Me a Coffee) and unobtrusive ads. That's it.
What is a Letter Before Action (LBA)?
An LBA is a formal written notice that you intend to take legal action if a debt is not paid. Under the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims in England & Wales, sending one before going to court is usually required. Invoice Chaser generates a legally compliant LBA in seconds — normally a solicitor charges £100–200 for the same letter.
How does link click tracking work?
When you enable tracking and paste your payment link, Invoice Chaser creates a short redirect URL. Include that in your email instead of the raw payment link. When your client clicks it, we log the timestamp and redirect them to the real payment page — and you'll see "Link clicked" in your tracker.
What payment types does it support?
Invoices, rent, deposits, retainers, fees, and a general "Other" category. Each type generates contextually appropriate language — a landlord chasing rent gets a different email to a freelancer chasing a project invoice.
Is my invoice data stored?
Invoice details you type are sent to the AI to generate your email, then discarded. We don't store or read your invoice content. Your tracker data is stored securely in your account.

Built by one person. Free for everyone.

Invoice Chaser is a solo side project. Every tool is free because chasing invoices is stressful enough without a £15/month subscription. If it's saved you time — or helped you actually get paid — a coffee goes a long way.
